Woolworths Store Closure Sale

Bargain hunters at the ready, Woolworths have announced that they will be having a store closing sale in every one of their 815 stores starting today. The fire sale is amid fears that the stores will be forced to close with stock remaining should a buyer for the chain of stores not be found. Deloitte told the BBC that some stores may be forced to close before the end of December if something didn't happen soon.

Interested parties in the sinking business include Tesco, Sainsbury, Poundland, Co-op and Asda, however whether they're interested in picking up the entire chain or just certain stores remains to be seen.

Still like they say, every cloud has a silver lining and this one is that we all get the opportunity at some bargain basement offers. So what are you waiting for, get on over to your local Woolworths and help them out of their troubles.
